Murder, Mystery

Not posted as been away on a murder mystery week-end with some girl friends for a special birthday. It was so entertaining with great actors, lovely hospitality and a really good crowd!  It was also a great exercise for being in the now as if you drifted away or didn’t concentrate, a vital clue was missed. The improvisation of the actors made it so realistic and some of the audiences comments had us in fits of giggles. Some people took it really seriously and noted down every word, while others listened intently and some just enjoyed the experience. Out of forty guests, only one got the murderers (there were two) right and she had been a policewoman! We all saw the evidence in different ways and that made it really interesting!
A couple of things happened though to make it even more interesting…….one of my friends had had a past life regression some time ago and had got the name of a little girl and the grand house she lived in. When we arrived at the venue, she said ‘oh we are going in the tradesman’s entrance’. I didn’t think much of it at the time but later we discovered that although it is now the front of the hotel, originally it was the back!! The photograph shows the ‘tradesman’s entrance’. Then we were reading through the history of the hotel and a little girl was mentioned with the correct name! More was to come as for the next two nights, the friend sharing a room with the ‘past life friend’ had someone come and sit on her bed (she thought a child) each night as well as door creaking open and tapping! My friend is busy listening to her tape and reading the notes from the regression session, but they do say that you often find your way back to the area of a past life…..interesting!

New Canvas

Yesterday was one of those days when I wanted to get so much done but it didn’t happen! In the end I decided to go out into my workroom and start a new project. I really enjoyed it and wanted to share a little bit of the process as I realised that unconsciously I  had made ‘art with wings’. The idea is that you collage the background with various papers, images, texts and tissue and then cover it in paints to create layers and to leave just a hint of the background. Without realising I used old music, stamped key images, butterflies, dictionary pages with light related words, in fact everything that I associate with Angels – the music for the angelic choir, keys for unlocking the answers to questions, butterflies for transformation and positive words. When this piece of work is completed, it will hardly be seen but gives energy and love to the picture and if someone is attracted by it, there is the hidden messages that they are accessing. I will post the final image, which is part of a wonderful on-line course by Laly Mille  and you might be interested to check out her work and philosophy.

Signs

posted in: Angels | 2

Many people know about looking for signs that Angels, loved ones and spirit guides are near, but sometimes we are just too busy to notice and they can easily be missed. When you leave the house, listen to see if you can hear a bird singing to you or one hopping towards you. Many people look for feathers and I think that when it’s a sign, it is very distinct. This can be a feather floating down right in front of you and one of my friends had a feather come down inside a telephone box as she was ringing for test results (it was good news).

When I first started working with Angels, I was reading a book in the garden and had just turned to a new chapter. My father suddenly arrived and as he walked towards me, across my newly laid lawn, I saw him bending and picking up something. He stopped a few times to repeat the same action and when he reached me he handed me a handful of beautiful white feathers. They had not been there earlier but as I looked down at the chapter I had just turned to, I noticed it was entitled ‘Feathers’. This was my first conscious experience of Angel whispers, those magical reminders that we are all being loved and cared for.

Feathers are just one sign and there are many others including butterflies and rainbows. Sometimes you can see magical formations in the clouds such as feathers or a full-blown Angel. I always thought that they would look like cherubs, made out of fluffy clouds but it is the wispy clouds you need to look for. I was driving home from a show and got stuck behind a horsebox. Instead of getting frustrated I decide just to bimble along behind and that was when I saw my first Angel. It was huge, with a sword and a harp laid carelessly on one side. The colours of the sunset were beginning to fade and it left a turquoise and blue hue to the sky. There was no doubt in my mind that it was Michael and I almost crashed the car when I saw it.

The Full Moon in Cancer

posted in: The Moon | 0

Tonight is a Full Moon, although it has been beautiful the last two nights. This January Moon is known as the Wolf Moon, which brings a heighten sense of intuition and awareness. The Moon is in its own sign of Cancer and the Sun is in the opposite sign of Capricorn. Cancer is a home-loving water sign that accents security and the nurturing of loved ones including yourself. Emotions can ebb and flow during this time especially with the need to protect. Capricorn, on the other hand is about bringing things to fruition with hard work, effort and energy to manifest your dreams and desires. Are you feeling that you want to be a nurturer and make home your priority or are you striving to succeed and working hard? Now is the chance to balance both your feminine and your masculine side to bring harmony to 2017. Make sure you leave any negative aspects firmly in 2016!
